Question: You wear braces!?

Yes, those are braces.

I could care less about straight teeth since I’m happily married.

Unfortunately, the dentist is worried about my receding gum lines. She said mine are comparable to someone in their fifties!  I later discovered that my shifting teeth developed a cross-bite that increases compression to my gums, which forces them to recede.  This also explains why I experience a locked jaw from time to time.

Here’s to another 18 months of being mistaken for a teenager.  Sadness.
