My novel’s first draft was written in 2012 but I haven’t touched it since. I’m not making excuses for 2013 – I simply prioritized family, ministry and corporate career, despite the fact that the writing itch never went away.

2014 is here. And some things have changed for the better. Family life is becoming more flexible – the twins actually sleep throughout the night so my evenings are back. I’ve also made the difficult decision to decline volunteering in all ministries (except ELEO).

I created this video for many reasons – one of them is gratitude – Cory and Katelyn were there for the Mewie Twins since Day One – helping out, giving Mrs. Mewie and me the precious few hours to sleep, and loving our children as their own – we will never forget such thoughtfulness.

Last August, ten friends and I joined forces with South Bay Church and organized a leadership event for entrepreneurs. We believe that the best entrepreneurs excel as leaders. To create purpose. Inspire others to follow a vision. Make concepts, hopes, and dreams into actionable tangible results. Our planning accumulated to a beta conference as a test to see if we can pull this off on an annual basis.

The conference went beyond our expectations.

An Exciting Journey with VMware

I joined in 2011 when we had 9,000 employees. It’s mind-boggling to realize we’re now at ~16,000 employees and our Palo Alto campus has exceeded the size of Disneyland (100+ acres)! CRAZY!

I’d be lying to say my career journey with VMware was a smooth, easy track. Leading the efforts in mass collaboration and orchestrating people engagement strategies involve countless decision makers, conflicts, misunderstandings, and variables you cannot control. But the challenges were and still are worthwhile.
